TAI Engineers is currently searching for an experienced Integrated Logistics and Support Intern to join our team in New Orleans, LA. This internship serves as an introduction to basic engineering support elements, such as vendor information, ESWBS structure, configuration equipment hierarchical structure, technical manuals, among others. Will gain an understanding of the equipment, vendors, and processes used in ship design.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No significant supervisory work required. May provide some technical guidance for design personnel.
EDUCATION:
Pursuing Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This role will collaborate within a multi-discipline team in an effort to fully develop, deliver and complete a successful project. As part of this collaborative effort, this role requires the presence of the individual working within a group setting, with regular interaction during meetings and one-on-one, face-to-face discussions with other individuals on the team on a daily basis.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general technical data and organize complex information into logical order. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work and apply fundamental mathematical concepts to practical situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This requires normal hearing, the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, clear close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Will occasionally participate in field trips to operating sites. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal work environment will be a business office with moderate noise.
