OVERVIEW

TAI Engineers is currently searching for an experienced Integrated Logistics and Support Analyst to join our team in New Orleans, LA. This role will help engineering support elements, such as vendor information, ESWBS structure, configuration equipment hierarchical structure, technical manuals, among others.  Will supports the ILS Lead and ILS teams in preparing technical documentation as well as preparing in-house templates and documenting in-house processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

2+ year of relevant experience OR matching experiences, duties, and responsibilities from current or previous roles. 

 

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The ILS Analyst shall plan, develop, organize, and help oversee required configuration and documentation for ILS impacted areas. Shall research, develop, and document processes.  Shall manage updates and revisions as required.
  • Shall support the ILS Lead in ILS functions, such as configuration, change management, provisioning, manuals, VFI, and vendor contact. Shall support internal and external presentations and provide support with validation efforts.
  • The ideal candidate should posses experience in configuration, change management, annotating vendor information, and multitasking detailed projects. Candidates shall posses excellent English written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in MS Office. Strong attention to detail and ability to present processes.
  • ILS experience related to marine vessels such as oceangoing vessels, patrol vessels, offshore support vessels, research vessels, tugs, and barges is a plus, but not mandatory. Excellent communication and team working skills are a must. The ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment is imperative. They should be willing to travel occasionally.
  • Supports the ILS Team in preparing client-facing technical documents as well as preparing in-house templates and documenting in-house processes.
  • Identify and Track Configuration and Change Management
  • Research, Gather, and Annotate provisioning documentation, including VRS and PPLs.
  • Research, Gather, and Annotate vendor information.
  • Understand engineering drawings.
  • Perform drawing reviews for item incorporation.
  • Manage document universe listings and statuses.
  • Help create COTS manuals and training material from VFI.
  • Work within a database.
  • Manage government/client solutions.
  • Prepare outlines and communicate with subject matter experts.
  • Prepare reference materials.
  • Prepare documents and graphics.
  • Perform page layout.
  • Support creation of power point presentations.
  • Maintain organized file storage.
  • Prepare outlines for CDRLs and data items for contracts.
  • Support Integrated Logistics Support materials for training.
  • Assist with specification and compliance matrices.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees of the organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages and statistics.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasionally may conduct or participate in a field trip to an operating plant or construction site.  This requires normal hearing, the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, clear close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.  Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Normal work environment will be a business office with moderate noise.  Occasionally may visit or be temporarily assigned to work in an operating plant or at a construction site.  This may require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, work near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
